In order to make the sport of sailing more affordable to families and other sailors MCQ Marine Pty Ltd has arranged for the manufacture of 125 yacht hulls with a standard colour and reinforcing placement. Several hulls will be made and imported in batches. The standardization keeps the costs down and ultimately benefits the purchaser with a lower priced quality yacht. Sailing should be fun, so we have taken out most of the guess work. By keeping this consistent boat to boat, we can give you a standardised guide to how to fit out you boat.
These hulls are of foam sandwich construction made with the exterior of the hull gel coated white, while the interior is gel coated pale grey, with dark grey anti-slip areas. Standard locations for placement of fittings have Marine Ply reinforcing in place. The hull is complete with centerboard case and thwart installed, ready for you to add your fittings.
